This is the first textbook on pattern recognition to present the Bayesian viewpoint. The book presents approximate inference algorithms that permit fast approximate answers in situations where exact answers are not feasible. It uses graphical models to describe probability distributions when no other books apply graphical models to machine learning. No previous knowledge of pattern recognition or machine learning concepts is assumed. Familiarity with multivariate calculus and basic linear algebra is required, and some experience in the use of probabilities would be helpful though not essential as the book includes a self-contained introduction to basic probability theory.

ギジュモ8625: いつもは絵の沢山入った絵本を寝る前に読んであげています。ＴＶでこの本の紹介をしていたので飛びついて買ったのですが、中身は文字ばかり。一緒に見る絵本ではなく、読み聞かせ用の本と考えた方がいいです。同じ言葉が繰り返し書かれており、読む側も飽きてきます。三歳の娘は最後まで聞く事は出来ませんでした。（眠たくなったのではなく、飽きてしまって）いつもより寝かしつけに手間取りました。三歳にはおすすめしません。

明子ｒｗｒｗ: 本屋で様々な種類のものを見てきましたが、2歳子供用に購入を考えていましたのですぐ飽きてしまう様だともったいないと思っていましたのでDEAL商品がありよかったです。楽譜部分は紙素材なので早速切られてしまいセロテープで補強です。音的には本の割にとても良いです。音量を大小だけでなくもう少し小さく出来ればさらに良かったです。年齢的に早めに購入しましたが、音も楽しめるので長く使えそうです。
